11:31 pm - Nekovember - The Free Neko Challenge
I was talking to Stacia from the Virtual Neko blog ( http://virtualneko.wordpress.com/ ) when she challenged me to create a freebie neko for her readers. Freebie means different things to different people but to me I wanted to make sure that everything was free (not $1L) and freely available - i.e. no lucky chairs prizes, no treasure hunt prizes, nothing that needed camping for and no 'group gifts'.

Here's what I put together and you can click on these pictures to enlarge them - twice:



First of all the skin is the freebie neko skin I have out at my stall at Celtic Dreams: Tweddle 81/165/81

My eyes are from Eyefidelity at http://slurl.com/secondlife/triangulum/9/21/26
they are near the door on the wall along with other freebies. Seriously though these are the best Neko eyes I have come across.

For hair I went to Savoir Hair on the Hairspray sim and picked up this "Berenice" hair.

The ears and tail are from the Neko Starter Kit from Mechakitty @ Marsco 71/26/258

The pants and top are part of a free set from Sintimacy. (walk into the main store and head to the middle left of the store).

No kitty is complete without a collar of some sort and this is the 09 Choker from Edgegrafica at http://slurl.com/secondlife/Wyrlsong/93/22/68

But.

While you are at Edge Grafica you can pick up a free skirt and top too. Combine them with the free black Prozak kicker boots for a grungier look:

You can get the boots here http://www.xstreetsl.com/modules.php?name=Marketplace&file=item&ItemID=770044 or inworld at places like freestyle but whatever you do don't pay for them! Not even a dollar. I've seen them for sale for quite a lot because they are really good quality.
